There are two Deputy Secretaries, Tony Ferrall (Budget and Finance) and Rob Nicholl (Economic and Financial Policy). The statutory positions of Commissioner of Taxation and Commissioner for Licensing are held by Wendy Sawford who, as Executive Director Revenue, Gaming and Licensing, has oversight of the Revenue, Gaming and Licensing Division. The members of the Executive Committee are the Secretary, the two Deputy Secretaries, the Executive Director Revenue, Gaming and Licensing, the Director Corporate Support, and the Director of the Office of the Secretary. The Executive Committee meets weekly to assist the Secretary in managing our Department, our resources and our relationship with our stakeholders, and to monitor our performance. Members of the Executive Committee attend weekly meetings with the Treasurer to discuss issues and clarify policy direction. These meetings also provide a forum for monitoring the progress of legislation, major issues and projects.
The members of the Corporate Management Group are the Secretary, the Deputy Secretaries, the Division Heads, and all Branch Heads. The CMG meets each month to deal with matters related to the management of the Department as a whole.
