About this course
This course will pick up where our Level 1 course leaves off, looking in greater detail at recording and simulations, and for the first time at audio and video management, template development, review cycles and learning management considerations.
We'll also be looking at some of new Captivate 5 features, particularly useful for those migrating from earlier versions.
What you will learn
We'll begin with a revision of some level 1 topics to bring the class up to speed, before looking at new features of Captivate 5 such as the (radically) improved workspace, panels and user interface.
The course will then move on to the use and creation of Project Templates and noting the change from Design Templates to MasterSlides.
We'll then be looking at Variables and Advanced Actions as well as Advanced Interaction before looking at more advanced management of video and audio assets.
Finally, we'll consider additional publishing options and connections to Acrobat.com and Learning Management Systems. Note that LMS solutions vary widely and thus we are limited to a relatively general discussion in the classroom (unless other arrangements have been made).
Assumed Knowledge
This course is designed to follow our Level 1 course but it's also suitable for those with some experience with the program, particularly if you find you've been struggling with some of Captivate's more challenging features without complete success.
If in doubt as to your suitability for this, or any other course, please
