Software - Adobe Fireworks CS4

Fireworks CS4 is the ideal tool for rapid prototyping of websites and web applications. Create and edit both vector and bitmap images in one application; optimise vector and bitmap images for the web. Offers tight integration with related tools, including Photoshop CS4, Illustrator CS4, Flash CS4 Professional, Dreamweaver CS4 and Adobe Flex. Functionality can be easily expanded & customized using extensible API.

Note that Fireworks differs from Photoshop in that it includes vector object editing as well as bitmap (photographic) image editing. Consider also the Creative Suite packages such as the Adobe Creative Suite CS4 Web Premium edition for better value.
